We are currently looking for a compassionate and self-driven Funeral Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide the highest quality services and products to satisfy the needs of our client families establishes strong personal and business relationships with customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized and caring manner
Ensure adherence to all professional, municipal, provincial/state and federal licensing authority, regulations and rules applicable to the provision of funeral services
Perform administrative duties to include preparing documents, processing reports, answering phones, and performing other tasks as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Graduation from accredited mortuary college required
State Funeral Director license required (applies to most states)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus where not required for FD license
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Good driving record and must provide a current, valid driver’s license
High level of compassion and integrity
Good communication skills
Proficient in computers
Professional and team player
Limited amount of local and/or multiple location traveling required
